Judging Criteria

The judging criteria are based on Muscularity, Conditioning, Balance, and the posing routine. 

The posing routine will be a 30-60 second presentation. There are no required poses but we encourage you to be tasteful and present your physique in an elevated manner. Following individual presentations, athletes will be called back to the stage for a comparison round. Competitors will stand side by side and be asked to show front, side, and back poses.

 

Bikini and Curve both have the Short (5'5 and below) and Tall (5'6 and above)

Bikini Criteria : 

  1. A lean and muscular waist and midsection. An hourglass shape should be emphasized.

  2. Full, shapely, firm glutes. Glutes should be round rather than square shape. Glutes should be firm when walking on stage. 

  3. A small amount of upper body development with emphasis on the shoulders and lats. 

  4. Confidence and overall look of the posing routine. (60% of score) 

 

NOT 

  1. Extreme conditioning and striations

  2. Dense muscles in the upper body, back, biceps, and triceps.

  3. Bending over when presenting the back pose or in individual posing routine. 

  4. Bikini bottoms should not be too narrow as to show more than 80% of the glutes.

 

Curve Criteria : 

  1. More upper and lower body muscle development than the bikini category.

  2. Very developed lower body including quads, glutes, and hamstrings. 

  3. Separation between the quads and hamstrings.

  4. Full round glutes with a slight separation between the hamstring and glutes. Glutes should be firm while walking on stage.

  5. A lean and muscular waist and midsection. 

  6. Confidence and overall look of the posing routine. (60% of score)

 

NOT 

  1. Visible or unnatural-looking glutes or implants.

  2. Thick or square-shaped midsection.

  3. Bikini bottoms should not be too narrow as to show more than 80% of the glutes.

  4. Bending over when presenting the back pose or in individual posing routine.

  5. Extreme conditioning and striations through the physique.
